Aris Latham is known as the father of gourmet raw food cuisine. He runs Sunfired where he teaches people about the foods and eating habits which keep him looking & feeling younger than his years. But what foods does Aris Latham recommend we eat?
Panama-born Aris Latham celebrates his 77th birthday in 2024, yet he looks and feels a lot younger. So, what’s his secret?
The food connoisseur puts his vitality down to his raw food or what he calls “sunfired” diet. Dr. Aris explains that his sunfired concept simply means “cooked by the sun.” He believes that natural foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts and herbs transfer solar energy from the sun into the human body.
Aris Latham has been eating raw whole foods for the majority of his life and he doesn’t even have a stove or oven in his kitchen. He says that we should be eating “living foods for living people” and that “our food should be colourful – it should be a reflection of the sunshine!”
When describing how humans should be eating for optimal health and vitality he explains: “Fresh plant foods accented with herbs, spices, seaweed, nuts, grains, you name it. Living vibration, living energy, living essence to protect and defend your life.”
Dr. Latham believes a raw food diet consisting of foods “cooked by the sun” defends your body against disease, extends your lifespan and increases your vitality and energy.
